Old Monk Supreme is an very aged dark rum produced in Uttar Pradesh, India. Supreme is a VERY old Blended Rum is a molasses distilled rum, aged for a minimum of 12 years in oak casks (in the tropical climate of India) and then blended to be a smoother, more refined version of Old Monk Gold Reserve Rum (12 Years Old Blended).
When sniffed, the VERY old Supreme Rum gives indications of black pepper, cinnamon and cloves with a light, but firm vanilla accent. The aroma deepens bringing forward dark brown sugary smells and rich baking spices with impressions of cigar tobacco and crushed walnuts. This blends dependency on molasses and caramal is much less then that of the Old Monk XXX or Old Monk Gold Reserve.
